Hi, I’m Blake, a Kansas City-based photographer with a knack for creating visuals that don’t just capture moments—but tell stories.

  • My love for photography started early with a little zoom film camera on a family trip to Costa Rica in third grade. I was captivated by the beach and jungle landscapes, sparking a passion that truly ignited in college when I got my first DSLR, a Canon T3i. I spent those years chasing sunsets and exploring the vast landscapes of the U.S.

After graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering, I worked in the field for two years before co-founding Wonder Wonder, an immersive art installation company designed to inspire creativity and provide stunning photo opportunities. While running Wonder Wonder, I also handled brand and lifestyle photography for both Wonder Wonder and Made in KC. However, the onset of COVID-19 led me to shift gears and pursue photography full-time.

I transitioned to full-time photography, becoming the in-house brand photographer for Made in KC, a company that has grown from one location to a thriving business with over 10 retail locations, bars, and cafes. As well as their sister company, Sandlot Goods.

Photography has been a constant through the highs and lows of my career, and it’s this journey that has shaped my unique approach to capturing moments that resonate.
